When LMDE first came out it was the stock Gnome, nothing wrong with it , I like the XFCE interface a little better. But thats the great thing choice. I thought I saw somewhere they are going to do a KDE version on LMDE, I am not a huge fan of KDE, but I wonder how many people are waiting for that ? ...

To be fair Ubuntu has done alot for getting Linux into the news and people's minds, they have done alot of good work. That said Mint has also done alot of work to make a Good Disto Ubuntu better Mint for new people.

Thats a great Idea ! Lets hope that they think about adding it ! I am encouraged by the excited people about this release. You need the new Debian mint CD you can bittorrent it or download it from a mirror. I am seeding. And from the activity its getting downloaded alot.
