Re: root Passwort entfernen

Re: root Passwort entfernen
Hello, corado.

Re: Stop Thunderbird from asking if I want to update
Hello, mikeflan. Actually, for Thunderbird, provided through the repoes, the Update Manager will check in the repoes, whether an updated Thunderbird is available and offer it for installation. I have to admit though that the Thunderbird developers release many more minor Thunderbird updates ((securi...

Re: Stop Thunderbird from asking if I want to update
Hi, mikeflan.
motoryzen has downloaded the thunderbird-102.0.1.tar.bz2 file from the Thunderbird download server. Such a Thunderbird will by default check for available Thunderbird updates and suggest to install them.

Re: Poor performance after upgrade to 23.1
gman8321, check the version details, please, which you gave us: 23.1, 22.1. At this point in time there is no Linux Mint 22.1 and no Linux Mint 23.1. Do you perhaps mean that you upgraded from Linux Mint 21.2 to Linux Mint 21.3 using the Update Manager? In order to make sure, kindly share your Syste...

Hallo, TT-Mint Funktioniert das bei dir ? Bei mir leider nicht. Ich frage mich schon ob ich mein Mint mal neu installieren sollte. OK. Re: Kernel Shutdown Errors Displayed: 5.15.0-100.110
Where is the Shutdown log? You may wish to execute the terminal command journalctl -b -1 -r and read the output, which journalctl will display, carefully. The commandline options -b -1 -r will have the effect that journalctl will read the system journal entries written during your previous Mint ses...

Re: I am on LM 17.1 64bit and cant update, am I cooked?
Linux Mint 17.x, this includes Linux Mint 17.1, reached the end of its supported life by the end of April 2019. This is almost 5 years ago. For almost five years, Linux Mint 17.x has not received any more software updates, neither bugfixes, nor security fixes. It is more than time to replace Linux M...
