Re: Linux Mint 12 KDE RC first impressions

IS it possible to install the LM12KDE environment on an existing LM12 installation? Yes. The package you want to install is mint-meta-kde. Stay with it while it installs, because at a certain point it will ask you to choose between GDM or KDM as the login manager. which is aesthetically better? edi...

We all know that SOPA is mainly focused on music and digital piracy and that it will give too much power to big corporations and stuff, but how much of a threat would SOPA be to the Open Source ...

Re: Debian Hurd

"In a discussion with the Debian Hurd porters it was decided that the Hurd port stays on FTPMaster until Wheezy is released" - http://wiki.debian.org/Debian_GNU/Hurd - Is somewhat around spring 2013 near future for you? A lot of LMDE users are waiting for up4. Seems to be enough work for the near f...

Debian Hurd

Since the Debian developers are planning to release a hurd variant of Debian Wheezy in the near future, are there future plans of creating an LMDE Hurd variant?

Wait, but since Hurd is different from Linux, i'm guessing it would be dubbed as "Hurd Mint"
