It's rediculous that we have to jump through such hoops to get something simple like this to work.

I might switch back to Cinnamon now that I know its possible to get the clearlooks theme working.

I've been considering switching back to a Gnome 2 distro. Cinnamon is clearly not finished yet, I noticed minor annoyances like not being able to set the clock to 12 hour format easily and rather large annoyances like not being able to configure the theme to clear looks. Usually in Gnome 2 I like to set my window theme to clear looks and change the colors around. I can't seem to find the option to do this in Cinnamon. Is it possible? I also get this error sometimes when logging in... The panel encountered a problem while loading "ClockAppletFactory::ClockApplet". Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration. I just log out and log back in and its fine. Very odd little problems, if I can't fix them I may swi...

Booting into wrong resolution and random crashes?

So sometimes, but not always, when I boot into linux mint it will boot in the the wrong resolution and everything is squished. To fix it I will log out and log back in to my user account and its fine. Also, mint randomly seems to crash back to the log in screen for no obvious reason. Anyone else hav...
