I got it working, by installing the other bluetooth manager from the software manager. Then I paired the device through that program. After the device was paired, I right clicked the device and selected input service. After this the mouse connected and worked as it should.

I got a magic mouse the other day and lm12 finds the mouse and installs it but can't pair with it. What would cause this?

I just switched over from windows 7 to linux. I was using acronis true image 12 to do automatic nightly images of my drive on to a NAS.

Is there any software for linux that can do this? If so what would you recommend?

I got my bluetooth working by booting into windows, googleing "dell 370 wireless drivers", installing this new driver, turning on the bluetooth adaptor, then booting into linux and the device is now working.

I have an alienware m17x laptop and I just installed linux mint 12. The sound works fine, but I can't get surround sound to work. I have tried everything to no avail

I only have the option for analog stereo.
