What version of Grub does linux mint 12 main release (gnome 3) use?

I want to start fresh again, I've experimented and now I just want to run the system till I need to experiment again.

that should be a great suggestion to look into esp if Linux wants to be use by masses of people

I do this ever 3 to 6 months on the windows side and I want to keep my linux side fresh so I want to restore it to day 1 at the same time I do it to windows.

can I do a system restore like on windows where I bring the linux partition back to day 1?

I have my issues fixed! are you working on themes to import them as well merlwiz? that would make themes easier to install

haha alright, anyways I'm noticing that when I'm in update manager alot of my repositories are failing, can I delete those, or does that mean nothing new in those repositories to upload? To put it simple what does a failed in the repo list mean?

I wanna ask what's the best setup for a brand new user? such as what desktop enviroment to use, also I get this annoying twitter pop up with my account how do I stop that I uninstalled gwibber and qtwit but still get it.

I just have a general statment, maybe questions as well. How come we can't download linux mint and just install the KDE enviroment? I did that so I run unity on my linux mint and then I switched back to cinnamon 1.2.
