Unfortunately i can see there everything only once, but in bios it's still visible doubled. Maybe i have some bios bug or something :? I am fresh from buying new laptop and have efi problem. BTW. First time i have efi/uefi bios. I have similar problem, in live cd i have this splash screen with green dots and logo but after installation i have bunch of text loading system, drivers, hdd etc.

[SOLVED] Mint 14 don't remember brightness after reboot
Like in title Mint 14 Cinnamon 64bit don't remember brightness after reboot, It always set back to 100%, so the first thing am doing after system start is to lower brightness to about 40%, it's very annoying. My laptop Lenovo B570e, is this hardware issue? I doubt yes, because it happen also on Mint...

I got an issue with Mint 14 Cinnamon 64bit While booting from live USB i got this nice mint splashscreen with green white dots. But after installing system, while booting i got whole bunch of text saying all details about loading files drivers etc, white and after a while yellow text's, till MDM app...

Yes, should be enough, what i mean is that if can handle games then can handle also 3D cinnamon, HD videos, and of course XMBC. Only using Intel i found problem with accelerating WEB GL but maybe that's fault of drivers.

I have celeron B800 it contain Intel HD2000 and it's good enough for simple gaming so i think it's enough for what you need, but if you want little bit more than this, go for nvidia 120gt 220gt 420gt 520gt or higher but those models are already powerful for Linux, don't get radeon as the drivers are...
