Hello any other ideas? Sound on my RC 14 is like playing Lotto, this reboot i have sound, next no, next no, after i have, after no. I newer know if i will have. Often it works, after login too, but if i click on a mp3 or oder music file, i hear a knock on the speakers and all is dead. Please help me...

Hello

@ mank_ in, that was it!!

I opened additional driver and chanded to the last visible driver (current). After reboot und login and 5 secons all was ready!

Hello Of course, if it would be not possible to go faster i will wait, but i know that it is possible. I tried the same Mint Version with the same Cinnamon Version on another Acer (Travelmate, not Aspire) and there after login it goes not more than 5 seconds and all is ready and clickable. I did what you wrote with de Live CD, and after rebooting i had my color schemas and Backround again.

Thanks for the link, but is the only way reinstalling grub 2 from Ubuntu or give it any possibility to tell mint to not use his own bootloader?
