Re: A Useful Photo Program...

hi,

i personally like and use fspot, too. but if you're really working with photos you need an adobe lightroom alternative, my fav for this purpose: http://www.digikam.org/ (you have to enable KDE support in XFCE)

Re: ( Unsolved, gave up )Volume control in panel ?

ok I've the same problem. Can't fix it, but found a way which satisfies my needs ... running in terminal: xfce4-mixer and changed it to fit my demands (adding surround, ...) the pcm volume has keyboard hotkeys, too. works as good as possible I think.

Re: How big is your Linux Mint 6 XFCE install?

/ has 6.9GB used incl. ~1GB - 2GB of additional apps and updates
/home needs additional space

not sure how much space is a typical value?

Re: Gloria XFCE CE Develoment

@FedoraRefugee: your absolutly right and my argumentation was pointed to the problem - I hope -, in other words: yes = "imho it's good as it is / keep this compilation untouched / replace it because it's good and small(er)" unsure = "nice to have / kick it if the space is needed"...

Re: Refresh by Kensai

wow this pretty cool ... thank you. (do you have plans for a 1280x1024 / 1.25:1 release)
/edit: zoomed view looks good for me, so there is no need for my demanded version ... but the image has a "hosted by ..." branding in the right corner :-(
