ok but i get 300FPS its smooth as butter!! what can possibly explain THAT? O.o my graphics card isnt THAT fast!

i have downloaded the bubble demo (because i thought it would be interesting to try) and it worked flawlessly using wine without a single glitch or error. even in full screen it still played smooth as butter and my graphics card is barely ati xpress 200 with only 2Ghz processor 512mb ram linux mint ...

wow out of nowhere all of a sudden i JUST noticed my screen is at full screen res of 1280x800... I didn't even notice till just now. I don't know what i clicked or what i pressed or typed but now it works.. strangly when i try to load any 3D game window of any kind it's just grey all flash based gam...

ok i got everything working but now i know for sure the file is in /etc/X11/xorg.conf because i start my PC in recovery mode then start up graphical mode (not using any graphics drivers though because im stuck at low resolution) I go to the folder to look to see if the file is there and it IS there ...

wouldn't it work if i start windows up in safe mode though?
Peppermint linux is starting to give me problems suddenly.. .out of nowhere its taking me 5 minutes to open a web browser whereas when i first installed peppermint it took less than a few seconds? any ideas?

no i installed it to my main hard drive (accidentally because i didnt know what i was doing) (the external one comes up as empty when i mount it)i do have an install button on my desktop but i dont have a reason to use.. I have somehow created a dual boot of linux mint 13 and peppermint

nope it won't let me burn at either speed.. max speed is exactly the same as 10x speed and 10x speed gives me errors no matter how many times i blank the CD and burn the iso to it

im sure my CDROM drive is too old to even use

I have no clue.. I just clicked the install button and restarted my computer and selected the unetboot or whatever its called and it booted up peppermint... i think i installed it to my hard drive because i still see my linux mint 13 on the boot menu and some other garbage (win/win2k/winxp) or somet...
