Our area is not very diverse in flower variety, at lest in terms of honey. Most of what we get is a varied Wildflower containing many different floral types but heaviest flavored by clover, usually Dutch Clover.

Re: I bee back
Thank you all. I am always abuzz for new opportunities Moem  Pjotr, it's a great thing that you buy local honey. I always recommend it. it supports local beekeepers and you can have a much better idea of where your honey comes from and what went into producing it. I will indeed look through you...

Re: It is necessary to add root password in Linux Mint?
sudo is intended to allow an admin to assign sub admins limited and specific abilities to do their respective jobs on a system. Not only does sudo allow for this, but it also logs every action/command entered by the admin/subadmin so that there is a trail to follow when things are done wrong and can...

Software manager password fail
A search has gone bollox for me here. I decided to install 17.1 MATE on this computer. 32 bit install. All seems OK for the most part but when logged in as a regular user and attempting to start the Software Manager, it asks for passord to perform administrative tasks. Not sure which password it is ...

Thank God For Linux Mint & Cinnamon
I have been running LMDE pretty happily for a few months now and yesterday I finally did the full updates which included Gnome 3 which i have been avoiding like the plague. I am not a huge fan of Gnome 3. So, I installed Cinnamon and I have to say thank you to the Linux mint team for this great work...

pkg manager says hplip installed, but c/l says not there
I installed lmde just a few weeks ago and for the most part it has been tremendous. One puzzler though still. I have installed hplip and hplip-gui, etc... all listed dependencies and while the package manage says it is installed, it does not show up in the menu and by entering the command in a termi...

Re: my chronicle of LMDE on the family computer.
Here we are about 11 days later with Mint LMDE.
Added some games, some apps, etc...
Almost everything works tremendously well for me. only current non-working issues for me is HPLIP and Sane. CUPS has the printer issue handled easily.
Sane I'm still working on.
