GRUB2 Settings Ignored?
I would like to boot an earlier kernel by default. Grub-customizer makes the changes in etc/default/grub but they are ignored by OS. I have tried to use grub-customizer to change resolution & default boot entry. I am using Mint 19.3 & not LVM as far as I can remember.

Re: Grub2 Timeout 30 seconds after today's update
Everybody who has checked the LVM box (in Ubiquity) during installation of Mint: are you sure that you had a good reason for doing that? If not, you shouldn't have checked that box at all. In most cases, LVM is just an unnecessary complication with no advantages at all, which can cause serious trou...

RTL812BU Suspend to Disk
The generic Ubuntu guides get wireless working fine & see network connections, however this does not persist past hibernation. I have to power cycle PC to start again.
Anyone have experience with this issue?!?

Re: Automatic Updates
Thanks, I've tested suspend with image backup before, no hiccups. Hibernate should work theoretically. If power management is temporarily inhibited then my tower has UPS anyway. My mate has laptop & prob just as lazy with charging as updates. Full automation, all the things!

Sorry, I applied all updates & rebooted. Why it should behave this way on image restore?!?
There was a kernel update in there though.

SOLVED: Mint 19 LVM Volume Restore
Upgrade from 18.3 to 19 was as smooth as butter. But since restoring from image backup with Veeam Cinnamon will only run in fallback mode. I will try applying all updates & reboot.
