Customising Themes issue

Hello. So I've customised my theme, and it's all good, except in the preview, it shows title/window bars as supposed to being black, but instead it's white. I even rebooted and it stayed the same. Also my browser did change. I'm using compiz, which I think is the issue - any way of fixing it to work...

Re: [SOLVED] Mouse is too fast

You may want script to run at startup so it changes that setting. Restarting reverts it, and unplugging the device I found.

Code: Select all

#!/bin/bash
xinput set-prop 'USB Optical Mouse' 'Device Accel Velocity Scaling' 1

Did you manage to get battery working? I have the 11 inch model version which I'm pretty sure is the same specs.

Not sure if this shows anything meaningful, at least to me. kyle@Kyle-LenovoLinux ~ $ lspci -nnk | grep -iA2 net; lsusb; rfkill list all; uname -a; dmesg | egrep -i 'blue|firm' Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub Bus 001 Device 004: ID 5986:0673 Acer, Inc Bus 001 Device 00...

Re: My Favourite Linux Links

Newbie Linux users could benefit from this thread. (Some links are dead, though). Wish the material was around when I started using Linux for a long period. Though I did learn a lot on my own and forgot most of it cause I went back to Windows because of gaming purposes at the time. I'll likely be re...

Re: Can I Play Directx 11, 12 games on LinuxMint?

https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=32863 Looks like there won't be any chance of playing Fallout 4 for now. Note this comment, though: Looks like Fallout 4 needs OpenGL 3.3 (maybe greater?) but wine provides OpenGL 3.2 only: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38648 Al...

Wifi, Sound, Battery, and Sleep issues.

Laptop is a Lenovo 100S. A good laptop for the price I suppose, but I have no use for windows and I'd prefer to use Linux since everything I do on it I can do on Linux. 1) Onboard wifi doesn't work. I use a USB for that which I'm guessing will be easier to do anyway. - USB Wifi works 2) Sound card i...

Re: 32bit OS and a 64bit UEFI (I think?)

I managed to get it installed by copying some stuff from a 64 bit version, and from a debain arch thing.

Thanks though.

32bit OS and a 64bit UEFI (I think?)

So my laptop is 32bit OS, with an Atom Z3735F CPU. The UEFI is 64bit I believe, and I'm unable to install Linux 32bit. Is there any work around? I'd love to put Linux on this thing since it generally serves the purpose of me watching stuff and streaming games to. I tried searching but couldn't find ...
