Can you paste in the actual output for nslookup? I want to check the IP's returned and see what they actually point to. It would in this case, I think, be helpful to have the output from traceroute. This will show us the path your internet provider tries to use to get to whatever server nslookup ret...

Did you try running an nslookup on youtube.com under mint? If that fails, I would suspect something to do with the internal DNS function in NetworkManager. If it succeeds, I would be interested in seeing the output from traceroute which I can walk you through if you like.

What do you get if you run this on the command line:

Can you get to other websites on your mint install, and just not youtube?
