@ deepakdeshp sorry to be a bearer of bad news, but I tried on my old laptop to use live usb, everything worked fine. Installed Linux, and wifi dropped randomly, good way to test but no 100% guarantee

Shouldn't be a problem, I have several, one I used only today to transfer files was FAT32, no issue on windows or Linux, must be another issue. Can you see the drive in GParted?

Tried Win10 before coming back to Mint, found that 10 updates could literally freeze the machine until complete, not good. Mint just rocks

FWIW, I migrated from Thunderbird as it 'lost' my passwords. When I setup Evolution, all I did for gmail was to enter my gmail address and it went off and sorted everything else out, only thing I then needed was to enter password on first run Not sure if anyone here can shed any light on the changin...
