Just installed the full 10 release. Exactly the same thing happened, booting off the USB stick worked pretty good (6-7MBps, not full speed, but good enough) and then after installing dropped down to about .50MBps. I really can't understand what would have changed from the one to the next. Only other...

Hi, thanks for the reply. Currently I'm installed properly and just done a speedtest.net and the wifi speeds are decent atm. It could be that the DVD edition is incompatible (as the v10 isn't released and so it's using the v9 which screws something up maybe?). The thing is it jumps from one extreme ...

Hi, I have an unusual, but annoying problem. I've recently installed Mint 10RC and was very impressed with it. WiFi speeds were good (unlike Ubuntu going at 50kb/s). However it slowed down to the same as Ubuntu after a bit. So I did some testing: Running Mint booted off a USB stick and not installed...
