Thanks for the response mank_in however i had come across that article whilst searching for a fix and did in fact install those 3 packages but it made no difference and spotify refuses to play local files. Very strange

Thanks for your reply Scriptiee ffmpeg was not installed so i installed it and libavdevice54, libavfilter3, libswresample0 came with it. Sorry to report that this did not help. Tried rebooting, also tried uninstalling and reinstalling spotify but sadly this made no difference and local files still d...

I have exactly the same problem as dumonde, i have not changed anything myself except to update the system using synaptic. As soon as the music video begins to play everything just locks, then crashes resulting in a hard reboot to get going again. I have tried changing flash, i have tried re install...

Ah you wish to remove the Ip, i was thinking ports in my example.

Try it this way then:

sudo ufw delete allow from 192.168.1.7

Open a terminal and delete it from there.

example: sudo ufw delete deny 23399/tcp
