Re: Why are Update Packs based on Testing rather than Sid?

think is better to build two repository stable and sid-testing, there are a lot of people like to use that repository then Sid it self...after a month freeze that repo and that will go to RC / Lmde testing it self... you can testit on some detail before go up to stable, i dont see a point.., first s...

Re: my opinion

ijust want to make a point, LMDE would be a good replacement of debian-stable. It falls in that catorgory.. I dont know how that organize, on that reason i dont lmde anymore.. i have been going to a smaller distro, and rolling too. and importantse of all, it maintained. has also a unstable/testing/s...

Re: We need a serious evlauation of the LMDE "rolling releas

im sure when mint made a Testing package for testers they can update the system everyweek, and a bigger update every month....There would always be bugs so far i know 100procent bugfree isnt every distro like ubuntu and you use ppa repository there could be such as bugs too... but its important that...

Re: We need more testers to the new incoming repo (how-to)

personally is LMDE a side distro of the main Mint, the effort they give on develop lmde is very low.... not a little updates it doesnt come when pointing on sid everyday to on a day, and personally with a test repo and testers and a bacport for firefox and other things, you could make lmde stable pe...

Is there some new update packs coming? Re: Request to base LMDE on Debian stable next!

i dont know why lmde goes to debian-stable? thats not good enough :) its a Semi-rolling distro so it must rolling sometimes? what a good thing is to Make a Community Backports for lmde, to vote for popular package to port it to backport, you can with that have fresh version, meaning you doesnt alway...

Re: Mint LMDE...How techie should I be to use it? <SOLVED>

ubuntu is not rolling , is more like an Cycle update , when you update all gona be a Mess and system could break with it... i agree sometimes are repo more updated as LMDE but only for a few month´s then you need the PPA repo, when you always need a fresh repo then go to a true rolling, like manjaro...
