My apologies. all is well with my Windows 10 system and the live USB is fine too. I wanted to know why the drive was not accessible. Now that I understand how to resolve the problem, should the need arise, I can address it by making the change in the BIOS.

Gentlemen, thank you. I'm not finding anything about a fast startup. I'll keep digging. Changing setting in the bios from RST to AHCI will affect my Windows system in what way?

EDIT -- Found the Fast Startup. It was enabled.

I'm running Linux Mint in VirtualBox. I just ran the update, rebooted and I'm preesented with a constant log-in box for my password. It's in full screen showing the desktop and the log-in box is off to the left. The desktop does not come up.

I believe I do have the guest additions installed. This is why I'm able to toggle full screen on, correct? Or am I mistaken?

I installed by simply selecting "Devices" in the menu and clicking "Install Guest Additions."

I have LinuxMint successfully installed in Virtualbox and it runs great! Only problem is I cannot get hared folders to work. I get the message the contents of the folder cannot be displayed. Regardless of folder I select, and auto-mounting, this the message.
