Yes my panel is still freezing.

Is there a way to put back the up and down arrows in cinnamon's scroll bars.

Its a nuisance not having them when I have to scroll one line at a time on a long document - instead I have to very precisely drag the scroll bar up and down with the mouse.

First I renamed the skype binary in /usr/bin to skypecam, then I made the following script via gedit; #!/bin/sh LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libv4l/v4l1compat.so skypecam I saved it as 'skype' and placed it in /usr/bin. I'm guessing it is something to do with skype rather than my webcam because if I disconnect the webcam there is still no button.

I removed all the compiz stuff via synaptic, then just to make sure did (from Mint IRC chat advice);
