On a side note:
Mint 20.3 (Ubuntu based) does what I want, but I wanted to install a LMDE partition too.
Guess I'll end up upgrading to LMDE5 and forget about running BOINC there.

Re: LMDE 4
Thanks.
The Nouveau driver definitely works.
Its just that in order to use the GPU for distributed computing (BOINC), the NVIDIA driver is required.

François

Re: LMDE 4
Thanks guys.
For the time being, I'm running on a older PC with an old Nvidia-based video card.
It needs Nvidia legacy drivers 340xx, and they are not provided in Debian Bullseye, which LMDE5 is based on.
Oh well...

LMDE 4
I really want to continue to use LMDE 4 (related to some specific software) but now it bugs me that support has stopped.
How can I stop those warnings please?
Thanks in advance,
François

Re: [SOLVED] GTK3 theme doesn't appear in the list
Yes, these are about the same thing.
I had started the second one because there was no answer here, and I thought I asked in the wrong sub-forum.

Re: GTK3 theme doesn't appear in the list
Ok, so I have submitted this issue on github in the Cinnamon folder, and it already been fixed.
I suppose this will be released in a newer Cinnamon version in the near future.

Re: GTK3 theme doesn't appear in the list
SASSC is also needed for compilation, by the way.
I've changed the title to "GTK3 theme doesn't appear in the list".
Hope this brings more attention.
Thanks.

Re: Theme doesn't appear in the list
Thanks Mark. The theme is installed in /usr/share/themes. I do the same thing on a XFCE desktop, and the theme list shows that theme. It isn't shown in Cinnamon DE. That theme only includes a gtk-3.0 folder. No GTK2 and GTK4. You can try it yourself if you want. You need git and meson to get the sou...

[SOLVED] GTK3 theme doesn't appear in the list
Hi. I have compiled a theme which is designed for Gnome DE. https://github.com/lassekongo83/adw-gtk3 I'm aware there's only GTK code; no Cinnamon or XFCE. I'd expect to be able to select the GTK theme in the Applications list. But it's not shown. Same thing with Mint 20.3 and 21. (different Cinnamon...

Re: Where the gtk+ theme for plank is hidden ?
I think the default theme is hard-coded in Plank.
It's not using an external dock.theme file.
Just my guess.

Thanks.
Newest file in the archive (gtk.css in gtk-3.0) is dated sept. 17.
Is it okay?

Re: [CINNAMON] Theme not appearing in the list
Edit:
The theme has an index.theme file, but only a gtk-3.0 folder.
It works in Gnome, and also XFCE, go figure.

Re: Simple modded themes for LM21
I only tried the Mint-Y themes, but both the RBC and SBC have round corners at the top.
And yes, I did a Cinnamon reset each time (ALT-F2 R).
Otherwise, I really like the horizontal blue gradient on the title bar!
Thanks!
