I've been using Linux Mint for years, and since some days ago (perhaps the last kernel update?) I have problems with the sound: after suspend the computer, when it is started again, the sound does not work and in the sound settings it appears: Dummy Output. When I restart the PC it works again fine....

Kindle PC app in Playonlinux or Winetricks no longer connects
I used the Kindle app with Playonlinux in one PC and with Winetricks with another. It worked fine alhough as we know it cannot be the last version (1.30) but the 1.16 or 1.17. Since the last update done by the Update Manager, Kindle starts but it cannot connect to the network. Screenshot from 2021-0...

I have the same problem : Linux Mint 19 and 19.1 Cinnamon freezes ramdomly from time to time... any solution? For me too, I have the same "could not write bytes: Broken pipe" at shutdown, and after 1 second it stops suddently.
It is with a Linux Mint 13 Maya just installed.
