Hello

A+

Re: LM17 + Mintconstructor possible :) :)

<SOLVED>Re: Keyboard shortcut to make New Dir: possible?

Well you could do it this way, but it would only create a folder on your desktop, not anywhere else. Open Settings>Keyboard>Application Shortcuts and click add, for the command use: mkdir /home/yourusername/Desktop/new (substitute your proper username of course). Type the keyboard shortcut you want...

Re: Load correct MESA DRI Intel drivers for Linux Mint 14 RC

Hello again, After a Top and C after loggin, I confirm that is Python that takes more than 95 % of my CPU, for the MintMenu/plugins/get_apt_cache.py. See the screenshot. I tried to remove Mint update from the automatic software at start up, the problem is still the same. Any idea ? Thanks According...

High cpu usage with mintmenu

Please open a new topic. Xorg's CPU usage has nothing to do with this. Hi, My problem could come from the issue of Intel Driver, Xorg also. This is what i figure out. So at this time my question is on the rigth post. Also, as I mentionned in an other post, after loggin all the menus take a crazy ti...

Re: Load correct MESA DRI Intel drivers for Linux Mint 14 RC

This issue is now fixed in mdm 1.0.8. Hi Clem, Is it fixed for Mint 13? Because until now my computer is slow: time to launch everything after login, also for openind locations (folders, My Computers) and files. With a fresh install, Mint 13 is ok. But as soon as i do the first big update, everythi...

Re: Backup system image.

For interest, I have used Clonezilla, fsarchiver, and redobackup - clonezilla is my favourite and has never let me down. It also will do an image check to ensure the backup is restorable. Fsarchiver has one very important feature - the image can be restored to a smaller partition. At my time of usi...

Re: Backup system image.

Hi, Since I just install Mint 13 and had problem with it, I wanted to make backup of my install. For many years I used : Ghost, CloneZilla, Acronis... They are all good but I was never satisfied at 100 %. Last week I discovered Redo Backup , and I love it ! Open Source Just download the small Iso im...

Cinnamon: is it a stable version?

Hello there, I am still using Isadora that is a LTS. I would like to use Mint 13 as it is also a LTS. Maybe I am wrong, but i think i read somewhere that the Cinnamon version in Mint 13 is not a stable version. Is that right? If it is, how to get a stable version? By updating or just waiting a new I...

Re: One Server, X users on the same time using it,possible?

Hi Inkit, Thanks for this information, I never heard about that. Sounds good. But I would like to go more in an hardware solution rather than a software solution (for me could be more buggy) that will install something on my Mint. Let's be patient. LG started the dance, and i am sure others will fol...
