Not even reinstalling mintupdate brought up the -41 kernel. The -37 same as -36, no difference, between the two, on any driver. Looks like it's -24 without Nvidia for me. But hey, I am not afraid of kernels any longer.

That kernel is not on the list. Did you mean -40?

I upgraded to Rebecca via Update Manager. It installed the 3.13.0-36 kernel. The Update Manager says 13.3.0-37 is recommended. Solved by deleting .gnome2 and .dmhc in home, then reboot

I had a Lubuntu install with seperate /home partition. I tried to install Mint 13 Cinnamon over top and I get this error....No Exec session in file: Lubuntu. Then I can only boot to gnome failsafe. Any ideas?
