Debian testing has security: http://www.debian.org/security/faq#testing LMDE is based on Debian testing and the UP are a stabilized snapshots. If you are not happy with Debian testing security then LMDE it's not better. Oh, thank you for that :D .. I had wrong information. I will try Debian testing...

Why Arch and not Ubuntu or Debian? They are more like Mint than Arch. I want to use KDE desktop. I was using Kubuntu and it was so buggy for me. I was thinking about Debian (testing), but I heard they dont make any security update for testing version. So my final decision was for LMDE. Do you know,...

Hello, please help me. I want to install LMDE (xfce 64b) from DVD from command line. How can I do that? If I boot from DVD, I can choose from menu only option to boot desktop system.
