Look at usr/share/themes/ nameofthetheme /cinnamon/cinnamon.css Edit cinnamon.css with notepad Open as administrator so that any changes you do, can be saved. Before you will start playing with the file, make a backup of it. I know that. my mean is which of sections in cinnamon.css have to changed?

I already disabled gnome-setting-daemon for problems in Mate and forgotten restore it to primary state, The problem solved with following:

sudo mv /etc/xdg/autostart/gnome-settings-daemon.desktop.disabled /etc/xdtostart/gnome-settings-daemon.desktop

I think found the solution: (Ubuntu 12.04)
change the following:

/etc/xdg/autostart/nautilus-autostart.desktop

to

/etc/xdg/autostart/nautilus-autostart.desktop.disabled

My problem is approximately solved.

By removed the Nautilus, now problems are lesser and softer, but sometimes the Desktop icons not shown, for show the Desktop icons certainly must run file manager (Nemo). I hope it solved in the next releases.

But, dont exist a way for stop nautilus on startup without removing it?
