Just install and reinstall the mint-meta-artwork package. The problem is that it removes gtk2-engines-...

Mintdisk and liveCD

Hi, I've installed the XFCE CE on the usb drive to have a persistent "liveCD". Trouble is mintdisk seems to be disabled, since livecd default settings are carried over. How do I enable it so that I can mount NTFS volumes?

Re: Startup-manager problem

What exactly do you mean when you say that startup-manager is broken? I've found, in my installation at least, that startup manager never loads when I select it from Menu -> Administration -> StartUp-Manager. However, it works just fine when I go to Menu -> Control Center and then select StartUp Ma...

Startup-manager problem

I've just did a install of Mint 6 and installed all the recommended updates. But it appears that one of them breaks Startup- manager. Since I've installed 200+ of them it is hard to say which one was it... but maybe anyone knows?

Re: Screen resolution problem

You could try to boot into recovery mode and choose fix X.org configuration.

Mint Backup and hidden folders

Currently backing up hidden folders with MB is rather tiresome, esp if there is many of them. It'd be great to have a "include all" button.

Re: Default video player in Linux Mint 6

VLC 0.9.4 is the version currently available through Synaptic. It simply does not work.....has too many bugs. That is the problem with repos refreshed once in 6 months... 0.9.6 works perfectly fine. Can you please tell me the URL address I could add in Synaptic that will allow me to download 0.9.6 ...

Please add right-click functionality from Main Menu.

One thing that I miss in Mint Menu, and that makes me keep the Gnome Main Menu just next to it are the options on right-click, esp the create desktop launcher one. It is extremely useful, and it would be great if it find it's way into Mint Menu.

Re: Mint Install and removed.net

Previous versions of Mintinstall served as a front end to removed, the one coming with Mint 6 seems not to be using removed any more, which kind of kills one of the big advantage of mint install over gnome install (access to current application versions). Is it possible that in the future Mint Inst...
