I'll give the output asap.
In the meanwhile: what's the right backend? GStreamer or VLC.
Consider that I'll use it mostly for video call (google hangout or skype).
thanks

yes. Even if I select the device in playback and recording, nothing changes. :?
Apparently the system recognizes it but it is not able to route the sound to it.

Re: Battery monitor profiles not activating

Similar trouble here. LM 17.2 KDE.

No notifications at all. That's awful...
Moreover, during discharging (only battery) it looks like this..

[SOLVED] MDM Login screen: permanently change language

Hi.
I'm using Linux Mint 17.2 (KDE edition).
I would like to permanently change the language of the login screen MDM. So far I have to do it manually every time since I always find the same wrong language already selected.
Thanks.

Re: Migration from another Debian Stable based distro

Here's an earlier topic for somebody moving from Debian Jessie to LMDE 2: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=234&p=1040934. That worked out fine. Perhaps useful for you also. How it will go for SolydK I don't know; depends on what is in the repository.solydxk.com main/upstream/import repos...

Google Hangouts (video) and Linux client

As far as you know, is there a Linux desktop client that supports google video call?
I would like to avoid using their website or their Chrome app.

Thanks!
