Re: start menu missing after reboot

Oh, I found a solution! I found it from Xenopeek on http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=114906. Right-click on an empty spot on the panel, choose "Add to Panel" from the menu that popped up. Add the "mintMenu" and you should have the menu back. Hope this helps! Note: Since this q...

Re: yoono-desktop not working on Mint 14

Wait-do you mean a DOS executable file (.exe)? :o I think you need to get Wine http://www.winehq.org/download/ or a program that can support DOS/WIndows executables. Is this "yoono" file on your desktop? You may need to enter the location that leads to the file. Don't forget that I am a beginner too...

Re: start menu missing after reboot

Hmm, are you able to press the Start button on your PC (or the Menu key for Mac) and have it appear? I wish I had a picture of your desktop so I could try and figure out what could be going on. The Panel could just be set to Auto-Hide.

I'll help you in any way that I can!

[SOLVED] Printer Driver/Printer Settings

Hi, I have a question about the printer driver management in Cinnamon. Whenever I try to install a printer (i.e. Brother MFC-7440N), it seems that the system automatically chooses a driver for the printer to be used. For whenever I want to use a specific driver, I have to boot into LXDE just to chan...

Oh, and you can also go to this site (http://www.foragoodstrftime.com/) to create your own date formats and look at a reference for all these terms (for example, %A). It helped me a lot!

Re: Problem with Cinnamon Time Applet after update today

The "date and time settings" feature within the clock isnt fully functional yet. Open cinnamon-settings to change the clock format: http://i634.removed/albums/uu70/crzen/Mint%2012%20cinnamon/Screenshotat2012-01-28041003-1.png The settings shown will give a clock format of: http://i634.removed/album...

Re: Microsoft Plug & Play Game Controller

Erm... I don't know, but you could try searching for your game controller on the Linux Community Website, (http://community.linuxmint.com/hardware) they could have the software for the device you have. I just saw you post and thought I could try to help a bit...
