Re: Struggling with Flash in Official Mozilla Firefox

To add the Google Search Engine to Firefox you could try for instance http://mycroftproject.com/ . You can also try https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=add+google+search+to+firefox+search+bar&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a ... But in the first pla...

Re: Comment faire fonctionner correcteur orthographe LibreOf

Re: suppression dde sites publicitaires

Re: Distros of interest and why.

Sorry for writing so much but after reading how the Linux desktop was dead I have to completely disagree with that. Distributions are taking their own direction, taking responsibility for what they are releasing and in my opinion providing a higher level of quality than ever before. And multiple bu...

Re: [SOLVED] Is there no UEFI-bootable install DVD?

OOPS! While LM13 seemed to boot fine, the screen was all garbled. I rebooted and went into the BIOS settings, where I changed my graphics card selection from "Discrete Graphics" to "Integrated Graphics". (My machine has a separate NVidia graphics card as well as an Intel graphics chip integrated in...

Re: What Killed the Linux Desktop

First, I thank the people who have answered to this thread with calm and expressed their views simply, i.e. almost everybody. Thanks. Then, and although I should not answer to the silly provocations, I'm going to try, a last time I hope, to answer to the only person who has played the "parasite" wit...

Re: is it true that you wont be able to put linux on a pc?

this is what I am saying.
