Re: Audio Converter

You lose quality when you compress songs....do you not lose more when converting them? Something to think about before one converts a collection.

I never seem to be able to settle into a distro or desktop for that matter......I've used slack, debian, mepis(was one of my favs back in the day), the untus and now mint. I have to say, i lov...

Re: main version versus 64

It's hard to say...it depends on your hardware. I started with 32bit and things we're fairly buggy for me. Everything is smooth as silk for me with 64bit though.

Gwibber

Hey folks,

I don't have the skills to build a package yet....need to find a tutorial somewhere.

Until then, I was wondering if anyone in the community would be willing to make a gwibber package?

Gaming

I would like to suggest if possible, a section of the forums on gaming in Mint.... I know the subject is covered somewhat in other distro's forums. But gaming is a popular topic and it would be nice if Mint users could have a minty resource on this. I think keeping it separate would be nice for thos...

I really like songbird....gmusicbrowser is a cool project also, I like that it will let you label a song with multiple genres......makes good for creating playlists.

In this time I bought a new machine ....Dell XPS 720...quad core, lots of goodies and so forth. I always installed 32bit ver...
