I finally have most of the software I would use on my mint install. I would like to back it up, but I would like to share my custom cd with friends. Any ideas on how to do this?

Anyidea on how to install this? Would makes sense to be part of distrobution since mint claims elegance.

is there a way to install mint from ubuntu, and if so is it based on hardy lts since it is supported longer? also is gnome supported?
