Mint is a great distro. However there's about a few hours of browsing and hacking to get mint working the way I want. I finally have most of the software I would use on my mint install. I would like to back it up, but I would like to share my custom cd with friends. Any ideas on how to do this?

i have linux mint 6 rc1 installed on sda3 and mounted as / i used unetbootin to install grub only showed mem test after searching and learning how to use grub... i soon found that there is no kernel on sda3 but everything else is installed how do i install the kernel and setup grub.. i have no cd or...
