Live cd will mount all removable media, use RMB select umount, the drive will no longer be available, then run the partition manager.

Where can I get mintsystem 6.1

Hi, I installed the latest updates, and it seems mintsystem 6.2 has screwed up my system. So far, I have lost sound, and I can not view helvetica fonts in pdfs? Question is, how do I downgrade back to 6.1?

TIA

[Solved] Live external USB drive?

I was wondering instead of a Live CD, could I put this image on an external USB drive? Would I need a separate partition? Right now I have a 500GB, partitioned as, partition 0 50GB NTFS, partition 1 450GB ext3. So can this be done and how?

mipcar, If memory serves, Valgrind and Basislisk II are CLI programs. CLI programs don't show in the menu by default. I am not sure about File Zilla, but I think it is GUI. Have you tried rebooting. This will usually cause the menu to update. Fred File Zilla has appeared and is working. No sign of ...

I get the same problem with my Dell, never caused me any problem to just push the power button. I usually dont worry about trivial things like this, this system is practically shut down any ways. Actually, I dont have a black screen just the shut down status with the indicator all the way to the rig...
