Re: Need help partitioning a drive
This computer came with Windows 7 installed. I don't think it has UEFI. I couldn't find any Fat 32 partitions which is what one of the tutorials said that I should look for. Plus, as I mentioned, I have had Linux installed on the drive and I didn't deal with the issues you have to deal with when usi...

Need help partitioning a drive (Solved)
Hi, I'm posting from my laptop where I have Qiana installed. I have windows 10 on my desktop and I want to keep it. I had Kubuntu 14.04 installed and unfortunately, I tried to upgrade to 16.04 before I read the warning about doing that. Now Kubuntu won't boot so I've decided to install 16.04 but I d...

Using a HD to backup Mint and Windows
Hi, I just got a new 2 TB hard drive in order to backup both Windows 10 and Mint Qiana. Should I make a partition for each operating system or should I back them up to the same partition? If so what software do you recommend that I use to do that? Should I format it as fat32, NTFS, EXT4? Something e...

Seagate Expansion 1TB Portable External Hard Drive USB 3.0 (STEA1000400)
Hi,
I'm thinking about buying this hard drive to back up my Windows installation and my Linux too. Amazon is selling it for $55.00. Anyone have any experience using it? Any thoughts on reliability?

I'm not sure if this is in the repositories and it may only record audio at this point. It's called Skype Call Recorder. http://atdot.ch/scr/

Driver hp deskjet all in one 3755?
My wife just got a HP Deskjet All In One 3755 for her Mac. It seems to be working fine there but I think it was just released on the market in June. I can't find a driver for it for Linux Mint Qiana. I've also looked on the HPLIP website. Is there anything that can be done or do I just have to wait ...

cron error
I've never used cron before. I tried running it from the command and I get this error
cron: can't lock /var/run/crond.pid, otherpid may be 1460: Resource temporarily unavailable
Would someone please explain what this means to me?
