Accidentally disabled graphical login mgr solved

Just installed Mint 6 x64 to dual boot with Mint 6 main. While turning off unneeded startup services I accidentally turned off glm. Now when I boot into x64, I'm cofronted with a full screen terminal. I can log in but I don't know how to restore the graphical login mgr and reinstate automatic login....

I have the same situation as Locutus when I'm on my laptop, a Dell Precision M60 with a 15 inch screen. But when I'm using my desktop with a 19 inch screen, the menu is normal. I hope you did not just format the hdd - because then anyone with some knowledge can read your secrets I used Boot and Nuke to erase the hard drive.
