If it' s that icon next to the Menu. The option "Remove from Panel" is grayed out. I've clicked on everything on my desktop. The only other thing that has Remove from Panel is the menu. Then those friendly guys need to catch up on OpenOffice. OpenOffice.org became abandonware when Oracle dropped it off on Apache's doorstep. Apache took it in and transformed it into Apache OpenOffice 4.0 a year ago. It was upgraded to 4.01 a few months ago. 8-)

[Resolved] Software Manager

Is it possible to remove obsolete software from the Software Manager and replace it with something else. OpenOffice.org no longer exists. It was replaced by Apache OpenOffice. The current version is 4.0.1 now.
