Re: Linux mint and flash

I think we oversee the following thing here, you can't update Adobe Flash any longer since Adobe dropped their support for Linux a while ago (2013). It was announced worldwide amongst almost every Linux forum and website. Adobe Flash Player 11.2 will be the last version to target Linux as a support...

Re: US.utf8 causes driver install issues

There must be a conflict during installation. Try to reinstall and everything will be ok. Make sure you will wipe out the hard drive before you install again. Encrypting the HOME folder is not causing any problems. Mostly we encrypt it if there will be more than one user for the computer so they wo...

Re: Bugs in Linux Mint 17 (my installation anyway)

Not sure but that one suggestion to test your connection type. I had an older computer its slow to begin with. I had a wireless card, a USB wireless db gain and a hard connection wireless router. I did a speed test with each device and I assume the drivers that are original or substituted for hardwa...

When I try to run Linux, I get the Mint window, it counts down to boot, says it's running, but nothing works. All I have is a blank desktop. If I click my mouse, the p...

Re: [Solved]What a mess I made with wine.
