ruby on linux mint

hi,
there are some ruby-packages on my os:

ruby: /usr/bin/ruby /usr/lib/ruby /usr/bin/X11/ruby /usr/share/man/man1/ruby.1.gz
do any important services depend on this ruby-packages?
what will happen if they go deleted?

distribution version and hardware compatibility

hello, like to know where we can find info about the compatibility problems that the different mint versions have with certain hardware? for example: mint 19.1 partly incompatible - fully incompatible cpu - Intel i18xxxx amd35xxxx gpu - xxxxxxx zzzzzzzzz and so on.

i didn't run the last commands that you have listed, but now there are no more gnustep errors when i run :

great! it works! everything is back on place and works good!
the only thing that is missing is the icon of the ethernet connection right between the icons for the time and the power of the sound.
how could i bring that back too?

hello, i have executed the lsat command and saw a recommendation to remove the following packages: bind9-host libbind9-90 libindicator3-7 libindicator7 i have opened the terminal and i have removed them all with 'sudo apt-get remove ... ' when i remove them i saw that i am removing some package name...
