it seems like the simplest way to prevent an app to connect to internet is to close the port/s it use. in my case i was dealing with a specific plugin additionally installed on a specific app. this specific plugin was opening a specific port and listening on it. by the command 'lsof -i' i saw what e...

hello,
many people surfing internet downloading different image, audio and video files.

how could a linux-user check if a separate image, audio or video file contains some kind of embedded code or some kind of malicious script implemented by some steganographic method?

i mean router ( combo: modem + router ) without wifi, receiving not dsl signal from a dsl cable, but a signal from a isp's coaxial cable.

hello, I've been using the new firefox 57 for a few days now and it is very good! just one thing - how can I sett the shrifts of the browser's menus to 'bold'? I go to 'preferences' >> language and appearance >> fonts & colors but ... I can't find the 'bold' option! some ideas? thanks in advance
