Re: thunar-dropbox for LMDX(Linux Mint Debian Xfce)

following the install of this dropbox package whenever I do and apt-get update now I get, N: Ignoring file 'dropbox.list.save' in directory '/etc/apt/sources.list.d/' as it has an invalid filename extension Just delete the file it's not needed. It got backed up even though it's the same. sudo rm /e...

It's only for Linux Mint 11(Ubuntu Based) or Ubuntu 11.04.

Re: Inkscape Wallpapers

Good work. Wish I had the abilities to do stuff like this from scratch. Most of what i've done is just step by step from other people. Awesome... I have seen some work from a number of people using Inkscape and thus far I haven't gotten any farther than installing it. I still have to actually use it...

Re: Linux Mint E17

Truth be told I'm not a developer. Just a tweaker and I've decided at least for today to hold off on the mint based e17. Not that I didn't get both 32 and 64 working- and I could get the 64 to install from the iso but couldn't for the life of me get the 32 iso to install (grub issue). Also there is...

Enlightenment (E17) SVN PPA

I created a PPA for packages of the enlightenment SVN. I haven't made all of the packages yet but I plan on building more. This is not meant to be stable and there will be bugs. The only one I have noticed is that any icon theme that uses the xpm format won't load the xpm icons.(Virtualbox only) If ...

Re: Linux Mint E17

Ok the extra emodules have been built on my PPA. If you want to use Network Manager don't install emodules-all. I also took the OpenOffice.org Quick Start emodule and rewrote it for LibreOffice. http://i.imgur.com/Rlwwtl.jpg http://launchpad.net/~merlwiz79/+archive/e17-svn Repo: (Ubuntu 11.04 or Lin...

Re: Linux Mint E17

Anxiously awaiting the PPA link... :D mikhou Well It's missing the extra emodules but you should be able to run the base e17. I still have a few packages to do before they can be compiled. This will probably take several hours to do. http://launchpad.net/~merlwiz79/+archive/e17-svn Repo: (Ubuntu 11...

Fixed the patches so it doesn't cause the package to be rejected.

Re: Linux Mint E17

I just uploaded enlightenment and elementary to be built on my PPA. They aren't even showing and they were uploaded successfully. Once they get built I'll build the emodules-extra and post the link. It's 2:42AM so I'm off to bed and will work on it later today. Once these packages are built you'll b...

Re: Linux Mint E17

I kind of went overboard yesterday and worked on packages and patches until 3AM.
The packages took like 30 min to compile on the PPA.
I did get the PPA close to the packages I have ready for it.
I'll work on it more later tonight.

Re: Linux Mint E17

Started work on real packages for the PPA today.
It's taking a long time to make sure everything's correct and built in the correct order.
It's being built for i386 and amd64.
I'll post a link to the PPA when I have enough packages built for Enlightenment to run.

Re: Linux Mint E17

merlwiz, feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but from what I have observed in the past, merlwiz worked primarily on the XFCE edition up until LMDE XFCE. Clem actually rolled that one. I believe that merlwiz had some family issues going on with his wife's health and wasn't able to work on LMDE XF...

Re: Linux Mint E17

Howdy all. Not sure this has already been done but I've put together a Mint 11 e17 that should be up this coming week- probably Wed or Thursday June 1st or 2nd uploading takes a lifetime on Sourceforge. I've got e17 deb squeeze and ub 10.4 right now for 32 or 64. I'll do the same for mint 11. I hop...

There is a new version of Bodhi linux out, it's an update: http://jeffhoogland.blogspot.com/2011/05/bodhi-linux-110-released.html Going to check that out on the weekend. That is on Lucid. This is on Natty. I posted on the Ubuntu forums here . Some seems interested. I think I'll work on it this week...
