GParted won't do it? No error messages from Gparted? Gparted has a Data Recovery section you can choose to run on the partition and see if that fixes it. If you are booted into Linux on it, I'd run update-grub on it, see if that corrects the MBR where windows can access the first partition. Was thi...

Here what I have done copied everything to another hdd and formated the hdd with ntfs system now the device do not show when connected via USB however gparted can recognise it. I tried changing flag to boot no use

Copy the home folder stuff to another partition or external hdd and format root and swap partition and reinstall Linux with home at the partition you moved your stuff. Try to double compress file to save space

Yes I know I had to do that earlier sorry but if I want to make a fresh partition on 1tb hdd and move the 200mb data to that and format the existing partition and reinstall latest version how can I do it anyway suggestion good gurus out there
