Root password in Linux Mint 13 "Maya" - Xfce (32-bit)

When in recovery mode it prompts me to submit it then I get 'invalid password' many times upon entering it. Is there any way to recover or change it?

SD Card Readers

If a card reader is not recognized by Linux does it mean it's damaged?

Re: Full install onto SD card

After reading this I'm wondering if I can install Rebeca on a USB stick or sd card. Since I only have 526 Mb RAM & 4 GB HD on my Acer Aspire One I'm not sure if I'm gonna have any advantage of that in comparison to Mint 13 Maya which I currently use.

"kuman wrote:It's possible to omit some components of Rebecca to fit it in 2-3 Gb? No, not that I know of. You might be better off trying to use something like Puppy Linux, or maybe AntiX. (Check requirements for AntiX though -- I'm not sure if it's small enough but think it might be.)" I use Acer A...
