I followed this tutorial: https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?id=789 and I have a HDD 'sda' displaying the temperature. But that hard drive is my storage drive. My main hard drive is a SSD. I did some searching with th...

Re: civ VI

Had a similar problem with CitiesXL (very similar game) and it turned out to be graphics drivers that were the problem. Well the error log was saying there was a graphics memory issue, which translated to me meant drivers. I changed drivers and everything worked as normal. Have you tried different g...

[Solved]After last security updates kworker/0:1 @ 96% CPU load

Can anyone help with an issue I'm having after the latest security updates? I don't know exactly what was updated, I have my settings set to Number 2 updates so nothing gets broken. After the latest update my CPU load is at 96% constant and the process is called kworker/0:1 I've tried rebooting, and...

Re: Google is STILL tracking you — here's how to limit it

Umm no I didn't. I didn't agree to anything of the sort. Also it IS asking for my phone number, it wants to send me some verification message code. I repeat, I did NOT agree to any two-factor authentication at all period! Edit to add: I am now in the process of deleting EVERYTHING google from my lif...

Unbelievable! I just tried to log into Google to change those settings posted and Google won't let me access my own account without first providing them with my phone number

Re: [Tutorial] Build your own live usb with persistent partition

I can ask this because I'm a noob

What would be really cool is a program that could do all the above with a few simple clicks, like selecting partition sizes, click yes and yes and your done!

Re: Who no longer trusts or uses Facebook?

Its a control grid being implemented in increments. Facebook, Google and so on are simply tools for a much larger agenda of control. If people can't see this by now you haven't been paying attention. Banking/financial data, medical data and so on are all part of a much larger control system. The pus...

Re: Cashless Society is getting closer

If lets say we do go cashless, which surprisingly many many people are actually fine with, what's the next evolutionary step? We can pay with our devices (which in of themselves are personal trackers knowing our every movement, call, text, internat usage, and for many their purchases) and there are ...
