Re: Partitioning & Multiple OS Installations

If it were my computer, the first thing I would do is change the partitioning to GPT, and get rid of the encryption. That would require you to re-install. The advantage of that is that you can have more than 4 primary partitions - allowing you to freely create all the partitions you need for 4 or m...

You would use different methods depending on your partitioning on the 165 GB drive. Post the result o...

Also, if you don't need an answer anymore, you can post that so no one spends their time giving you help that's not needed...

Re: Configuring Linux Mint too use a specific DNS other than my ISP's default.

HI "Spud1200" Welcome to the wonderful world of Linux Mint and its excellent forum ! It would help to know more about your system setup. If you run "inxi -Fxzd" from the console terminal prompt, highlight the results, copy and paste them back here, that should provide enough information. There are ...

Why is LM realised under different names. For example. Cinnamon. Rafiella (I think) and other n...

Re: Hello too the people of the LM Community.

I know Linux can get complex, and from what I have seen I mean complex as they really could possibly be. I'm really interested in learning the Terminal more than any thing else and the actual structure of LM it self.
