Qt5 Configuration Tool question...

Is it possible to change Qt tooltip text and color with Qt5 Configuration Tool?
If not, is there a file I could modify?
TIA

Re: Logout/login sound problem...

You can run: pactl list short sinks to get a list of audio devices. In my case I added to startup: pactl set-default-sink 'alsa_output.0.hdmi-stereo.1f.3.hdmi-stereo' Now HDMI sound is set as default. If your HDMI shows multiple times, add more commands to startup. It works but when I log out/log in...

Re: Pop_OS theme wish...

I did it.
It was easy. I only had to change 3 SVG files.
Maybe it's not perfect but I like it :)

Slick-greeter question...

I have one hidden login user.
Slick-greeter documentation says "List of usernames that are hidden until a special key combination is hit"
What's the special key combination or where can I set it up?

Logout/login sound problem...

I'm using Mint 19 Cinnamon and sound is played through HDMI.
When I log out and log back in the sound is switched to laptop internal speaker.
(On restart HDMI is automatically selected.)
It's annoying.
Any way to fix it?
TIA

Re: Default browser problem...

Thank you for your tip.
I found in searchmonkey directory config.ini
I replaced chrome with vivaldi and it works fine.
(When I used searchmonkey first time my default browser was chrome.)

Re: Default browser problem...

I used a guest account and tried Searchmonkey/Help/Release Notes. It showed a popup saying: Run configuration to set default web browser: "http://searchmonkey.sf.net/index.php?title=V.0.8.1_Release_Notes" There's nothing in configuration settings. Using a regular account I opened Vivaldi a...

Default browser problem...

I'm using Mint Cinnamon 19. I set Vivaldi as my default browser. However, some apps still open a page in Chrome. For example Searchmonkey/Help/Release Notes. Running command sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser shows that Vivaldi is my default browser: Selection Path Priority Status -----...

Re: Pop_OS theme wish...

To make Pop compatible with Cinnamon is beyond my abilities.

Pop_OS theme wish...

I installed Pop_OS theme. Looks great but it doesn't fully support Cinnamon. It won't show up in Themes/Desktop option. I contacted System76 about Cinnamon support. Their reply: "Yes Cinnamon has changed a lot of the code base I believe from GNOME Shell. You may need to reach out to the develop...

Sound Effects bug?

I'm using 18.3 but the following problem was in 18.2 as well. All sound effects work fine except if there's no activity for about 30 seconds the sound effect won't work. For example: No activity for about 30 seconds and then I minimize window there's no sound. If right after I restore window there's...

Re: Nemo bug?

Thank you very much. I tried it but it didn't help. However, I noticed that I don't have to press F5 to refresh the Desktop. I only have to click anywhere on the Desktop and desktop-nemo CPU usage goes back to normal. Because I didn't know if the suggested command made a difference I restored from b...
