The included Firefox is fine, but I like to have a second browser that is not Firefox based. Can anyone suggest an alternative to Chromium? Thanks. -Howard There's plenty...

Re: How to install updates on Linux Mint

The most important thing is to always keep your System up to date...best option now is to do a clean install of say Mint 19.3 and keep it up to date. Image

Re: Can Mint and Windows 10 Coexist At All?

For me it's running Windoze in Virtualbox as a Virtual Machine where it can't do any Spying or Damage...should anything happen just delete it. Image

Re: Timeshift and System Updates

Should I be saving my system via Timeshift every time I install a system update? Yesterday I spend 2+ hrs getting my system right. Not sure how it got wrong. Perhaps a bad update, but that's just a guess. So...should I be saving my system before every update? That seems like a lot. Really. I'm runn...

Re: Effect of deleting old snapshots in Timeshift?

At the end of the month I'll delete all but the last two Snapshots...with no ill effects. https://yoursmiles.org/msmile/fun/m0114.gif You're not deleting the Operating System...just a snapshot of it...just like System Restore in Windoze...only better. https://yoursmiles.org/tsmile/rulez/t2034.gif
