My Australian ISP, Internode, has Linux Mint iso's on its 'free' download mirror, so it is obviously possible. I have found that in both Firefox and Swiftweasel often when I am logged in and go to links in the forum I am given the message "No posts exist inside this topic for the selected time frame." and the only way I can see the post in the link is if I delete my cookies and logout.
