On GTK DE ( Cinnamon, Mate, XFCE etc..)I use easytag

try to remove the directory mintinstall from ~/.cache in the user that not work, login with that user and type

on mint there is an older version of gnome shell, unlike ubuntu 17.10 , however, i have install it with

apri il gestore applicazioni dal menu e nella casella di ricerca scrivi filezilla escono 2 risultati, quello che ti interessa è quello con scritto (flathub)
