Re: [Solved] Boot partition is full
The kernel is such a basic and important piece of software, that it affects everything else. When you update the kernel, the old one is left there in case the new one doesn't work properly (with your hardware or with your programs). If the old one was removed immediately, a problem with the new ker...

Re: [Solved] Boot partition is full
Well, issue is still there as of today. I got no space left in boot. As a result I got 4.13.0-32.35 Installed but 4.13.0-32.35 Active. And bunch of old kernels in /boot littering space. Setting up linux-image-extra-4.13.0-32-generic (4.13.0-32.35~16.04.1) ... run-parts: executing /etc/kernel/postins...

Re: Every window becomes transparent
Happened to me several times.
I had to logout/login to get my desktop back, and I obviously was loosing all opened programs and applications.
Changed "Show desktop" setting "Peek at the desktop on hover" to OFF thanks to this post !
The default should be to OFF.

Re: Cinamon 18.2 backup question
Hi,
Thank your for answering.
I can use rsync, but I am interested in point-in-time recovery solution.
That is why I was "Back in TIme" user on old system.
Is there any plan to implement some robust backup solution ?

Cinamon 18.2 backup question
Hi there, New user and very happy with everything so far. I have a question though, and hope somebody will be able to answer it. I am using "Backup Tool" on regular basis, but I am not convinced it is effective. Every time I start it, it takes a lot of time to backup my Home. Even if there...
