Re: Firefox, aspx, "mobile sites", general B.S.

Since installing the User Agent hasn't done diddly I was wondering if the FF 10.0.2 update helped at all?

I've held back installing it although I guess it couldn't make anything worse.

Re: mintUpdate error in Isadora 64-bit GNOME

Did a little more searching and found a post advising to re-install the mintUpdate package, which I did, but I'm still getting the errors. What else can I try? I wouldn't be so worried if it were a problem with a PPA, but these are the actual Mint repos, including the security repos. I want to make ...

No. Not using NoScript.

I'm having the same results on these sites, too, so far:

Re: Firefox, aspx, "mobile sites", general B.S.

Well, I allowed mintUpdate to install FF 10 on my Isadora laptop, and MSN.com (of all sites! There are others though) thinks it's a mobile version. I installed the Agent Switcher extension suggested on this and other posts, as well as clearing my cache and cookies, but it has no effect. Sigh...I wis...

Re: Chromium - pinned bookmark list?

I already have the bookmark bar displayed.

I don't want to have to click on "Other Bookmarks" to display the list of bookmarks. I want the list displayed all the time, like pressing Ctrl-B in Firefox and Opera.

Chromium - pinned bookmark list?

Does anyone know of a way (probably with an extension) to keep Chromium's bookmark list permanently displayed like Firefox? The inability of Chromium to do this is the only thing keeping from using it on a regular basis. I've got a lot of bookmarks with sub-folders, and having to drill down into the...

Yes. Clicking on the first URL opens the .gpg file. Clicking on the second URL opens a Medibuntu web page.

Actually it's FF 9.0.1 for Isadora, but I'm just as happy. :D

Re: ...Opera high and low notes

I'll second the compatibility issues, but otherwise it's great browser, and a fast one too. One minor complaint I have is that it uses up a lot of screen space with buttons and toolbars that you can't turn off (or at least I haven't found a way to do that if it exists).

Wine (quick rant)

Been using Mint since Gloria and loving it. Since that time I've found two windows apps that I thought I couldn't live without - one when I first installed Gloria and one I just found today under Isaodra. Wine was required for both of them. Followed install instructions to the "T" both times, and th...

Well, I don't know if any of the updates released this week addressed the problem, but a file system check ran at boot this morning, finished, and continued normally! I hope it wasn't a one time thing.

Re: [SOVLED] Firefox 4 for Mint

Just curious, will FF4 (or any other version later than 3.6.x) be added to the standard repos for Isadora? Ii just got 3.6.21 this morning.
